President Mack Wilson explained about our Constitution & By-law is need to clean up and get straight out since some of them was leftover and never change or remove for old sentence. We will work with C/BL in the winter time with our NBAD officers. He explained about Derby Kiddies and encourages from COR representatives from local Bass Deaf Club to come over to School of the Deaf or mainstream school to make speech about our NBAD and let all the kids aware about our NBAD.

Also he explained about Illinois Deaf Bass Anglers are still working to sign as contract of agreement with Kentucky Dam Village State Park Resort for 2009 and MarVA still consider to bid for 2010 in either Potomac River or John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir (Also known as Buggs Island Lake). In either State of Virginia or North Carolina.

He encourage very one to sign for Yahoo communications for NBAD and secretary will be our moderator and accept your email address. It is for share information about NBAD, your local Bass Deaf Clubs or anything to let everyone to know.

 

SECRETARY’S MINUTES:

The minutes of NBAD Special meeting April 8 2006, NBAD Executive Board meeting June 11, 2006, COR meeting June 11, 2006 and NBAD General meeting June 12, 2006 were read and accepted by Council of Representatives.

 

TREASURER’S REPORT:

Treasurer Danny Cochran reported Harrison Suber, AR, Earl Eads, KY and Thomas Eades, MO, audited and approved NBAD Financial Report from September 2005 to August 2006.

EXECUTIVE BOARD REPORT:

Secretary Dave Coles report from Executive Board meeting was held on June 10, 2007.

 

2007 GENERAL CHAIRMAN:

Brett Ketchum explained about safety for iron tent holders (sticks) and chains were used to hold the canopy tent up.  After being hammered on the paved road, the iron sticks were left open and being considered not to be safety-related for everyone so we had placed the chairs over them for our protection form the accidents. Also please don’t remove the chair from it.

He explained about plastic orange rope tie-down to tie each pole as reservation at boat slip from K-L. It is mean that it was already reservation for officers, committees and few participants. If any participants put their boat by mistake then it will be automatically disqualified.

Also he explained that there is two girls, who is photographer for LRBAD, their name is Noel King and Brittany Caldwell. Also there is one from NBAD is Barb Lange, who is work as photographer for NBAD.

He said that Noel King and Brittany Caldwell will work to put all pictures at Laptop then will use Power Point to show them every night at Canopy.  It will be about ten or fifteen minutes.

He explained about back of registration badge with two names on it. It is for only emergency if anyone need help and give a call to cell phone to Dave or interpreter Donna for anything as 911 or call for help, etc.

The breakfast will open at 4:30 a.m. at Mountain Harbor restaurant with cost $8.95 each buffet.  Also the inspection will be open at 5:00 a.m at Marina office and Subway and committee will inspection with our NBAD rules as fire extinguisher, First Aid kit, Horn, safety cushion, live well, life jackets, registration badge, fishing license, Kill switch, make sure that Kill switch is work. When it is passed this required met then will put color dot sticker on number of your participants on the outboard. So they will know and already inspected before three days tournament.

He explained that there are four buoys from outside of Marina Office. On left side as first one is for only NBAD officers and committee with orange lanyard on the neck. They must show up at Canopy on 2:50 p.m. to be ready for weigh –in site.  Three buoys will start with first is A, second is B, and C is the last buoy.  A. for red color on out board, B is for Green color and last one is for C.

ENTRY FORMS REPORT:

Danny Cochran reported that there are 70 participants for Monday lunker and 42 boats for three days tournament.

There shall be a “Winner Plaque” with only championship name and date and year on the plates. NBAD is responsible of bring the “Winner Plaque” to each NBAD Tournament.

Top Two (2) anglers with winning the NBAD Team Tournament Championship at the Lake Name and date/year shall be placed on annual NBAD program book under the title as “NBAD Championship”.

Section 1 – Any visitor or fan, during the tournament, shall pay a one dollar ($1.00) fee and shall be issued a registered tag.

New Sentence:

During the NBAD Tournament period, all visitors shall require to register to get the visitor’s badges for five dollar ($5.00). The monies from the visitor’s registration shall go to the Host fund.

  1. Sixty five dollars ($65.00) shall be used to cover the second place to last place based on the four to one ratio (4:1). The first place prize shall be two thousand and five dollar ($2,500.00) or up and it shall be guaranteed by the Host Club. The second place shall be half of the first place. The third place shall be half of the second place. The fourth place to last place shall be pro-rated. No guarantee to Champion and add to prizes – split-up.

 

New Sentence:

NBAD entry fee of sixty-five dollars ($65.00) will be based on the rate of 4 to 1 (4:1) for second to last place’s prize monies.

  1. While bids will be accepted for the purpose of hosting a NBAD Tournament, it must be accompanied by a letter of acceptance or contract from the Marina management selected as the site of the NBAD Tournament. The letter of acceptance or contract shall be giving to the NBAD Secretary before the COR meeting.

            New sentence:

Section F - Before any deaf bass club shall process the bidding for the NBAD event at next scheduled Council of Representatives (COR) meeting, two (2) requirements shall be met at first:

  1. a letter of application of acceptance for the bidding from the secretary of deaf bass club and
  2. A contract of agreement from the marina management at where the lake area gets selected for the next NBAD bass team tournament. These requirements shall go directly to NBAD Secretary as processed before the next COR regular meeting.

Section 1; NBAD Tackle Box Newsletter shall be issued in NBAD website www.nbad.org  Hard copies shall be provided at NBAD annual registration for anyone with no Internet service available at their home locations.

Also change the article title to be “NBAD Bulletin”: instead of Publishing.

  1. Tournament week range shall be the second Sunday of June to second of July, to compensate the seasonal and/or regional difference in USA. The only exception is the last full week of June (last day of tournament falls on a Thurs, June 30). The effective shall be the 34th annual tournament in 2009. Every consideration should make for bass seasonal difference, climate, date availability, regional difference and local public school schedules.

                                    LITTLE ROCK BASS ANGLERS OF THE DEAF, INC.

                  Proposals:

  1. NBAD shall add an extra day (Saturday to NBAD’s current scheduled week  (Sunday to Thursday) so as overall, the schedule for all NBAD officer’s business with executive board meeting at morning time, lunch break at noontime, special meetings (if any) at afternoon time and finally COR meeting at evening will be switched to Saturday.

 

  1. The Schedule for NBAD’s General Assembly meeting shall be switched to

Sunday at the evening time.

  1. The schedule for the announcement of winners on Monday’s Big Lunker
  2. Awards and Jr. NBAD Derby shall be switched to Tuesday at the evening time.
